Description
Tender green beans cooked in shallots and garlic powder.
Ingredients
- 1 pound Green Beans
- 1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
- 1 whole Shallot, Thinly Sliced
- 1 teaspoon Pepper
- 2 teaspoons Garlic Powder
- 1 cup Low Sodium Chicken Broth
- 1 pound Green Beans

Preparation
1. Trim ends off of the green beans. Add olive oil to a large frying pan. Preheat to medium high heat. Once hot, add shallot, pepper and garlic powder. Stir and cook until softened, about 2 minutes.
2. Add green beans. Mix together. Add chicken broth and cover. Reduce heat to medium and let beans cook until tender, about 10 minutes.
3. Serve and enjoy!
