Greek Burger with Tzatziki Sauce

A Greek spin on the all-American burger!

Ingredients

  • ¼ pounds Ground Beef (or More, If You Like)
  • Salt And Pepper, to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Oregano
  • 1 Tablespoon Canola Oil
  • 1  Roll Or Burger Bun, Toasted
  • 1 slice Tomato
  • ¼ cups Spinach Leaves
  • 2 Tablespoons Tzatziki Sauce, Divided (Recipe Included)
  • 2 Tablespoons Crumbled Feta Cheese
  • FOR THE TZATZIKI SAUCE:
  • ¾ cups Greek Yogurt
  • 1 clove Garlic, Peeled And Minced
  • ½ whole Cucumber, Diced
  • 1 teaspoon Chopped Dill
  • Salt And Pepper, to taste

  • FOR THE TZATZIKI SAUCE:
  • ¾ cups Greek Yogurt
  • 1 clove Garlic, Peeled And Minced
  • ½ whole Cucumber, Diced
  • 1 teaspoon Chopped Dill
  • Salt And Pepper, to taste

Preparation

For beef into a patty. Season with salt, pepper and the oregano on both sides. Heat the oil in a cast iron pan and cook to desired doneness.

Combine all the ingredients for the tzatziki sauce in a bowl and mix.

When burger is cooked the way you like it, spread 1 tablespoon of the sauce on the bottom of a toasted roll. Add the burger, tomato, spinach and remaining sauce. Sprinkle on the feta cheese.
