Crispy Oven-Baked Parmesan Green Bean Fries

Description

These green bean “fries” are coated in panko breadcrumbs and Parmesan cheese, then baked to crispy perfection

Ingredients

  • ½ cups All-purpose Flour
  • 2  Eggs, Lightly Beaten
  • 1 cup Panko (seasoned Japanese Breadcrumbs)
  • ½ cups Parmesan Cheese, Freshly Grated
  • ¾ teaspoons Garlic Salt
  • Freshly Ground Pepper, to taste
  • 400 grams Green Beans, Ends Trimmed
  • ½ cups All-purpose Flour
  • 2  Eggs, Lightly Beaten
  • 1 cup Panko (seasoned Japanese Breadcrumbs)
  • ½ cups Parmesan Cheese, Freshly Grated
  • ¾ teaspoons Garlic Salt
  • Freshly Ground Pepper, to taste
  • 400 grams Green Beans, Ends Trimmed

Preparation

Preheat oven to 425°F. Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper, set aside.

Place flour and eggs in separate shallow bowls. In a third bowl, combine panko, Parmesan, garlic salt and pepper.

Dredge beans in flour, then eggs, then panko mixture. Place on baking sheet. Bake for 10–12 minutes, until golden and crispy.

Serve immediately.

Note: Make sure to use fresh, crunchy beans.
