Description

This Japanese Cucumber Salad, called Sunomono, is sweet and tangy. It is really quick to make and is perfect as an appetizer or a side dish!

Ingredients

  • 1  Large English Cucumber Or 2 Japanese Cucumbers
  • ½ Tablespoons Salt
  • ½ Tablespoons Sugar (or More)
  • 2 teaspoons Soy Sauce
  • 2 Tablespoons Rice Vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon White Sesame Seeds

Preparation

Slice the cucumber thinly using a food processor or by hand. Rub well with salt and drain in a colander for a couple of minutes. Rinse under running water and squeeze to remove water.
